Join us for the very first Hike the Sunshine Group Hike as we hit the beautiful Black Bear Wilderness Trail in Sanford, Florida. This 7.1-mile loop winds through shaded cypress forests, wetlands, and along the scenic St. Johns River—home to otters, wading birds, and maybe even a glimpse of a black bear if luck’s on our side.
We’ll meet at 8:00 AM for check-in and introductions before heading out on the trail at 8:30 AM. Please bring water, snacks, and sturdy hiking shoes. The terrain can be uneven and occasionally muddy, but the views and company make it all worthwhile.
This marks the beginning of our group hiking series, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the trail with you. Come be part of our first adventure and help us set the tone for many great hikes to come!
