Day 11: Lobuche to Gorak Shep and EBC

This is the day everything has been building toward. I’ll trek to Gorak Shep and then continue on to Everest Base Camp, moving along rocky terrain beside the glacier. The air is thin, the pace is slow, and every step matters. Reaching Base Camp isn’t about a dramatic summit moment, it’s about standing there and taking it in, knowing the work it took to get here. This is a moment I’ve thought about for a long time.
